Cara Mund for North Dakota!

OK, so that is my second diary on DKos.

I used to be technically born in North Dakota.  The hospital was throughout the Pink River of the North from the place my dad and mom lived.  My earliest years (up till second grade) have been in North Dakota.  I lived on the border of Minnesota and North Dakota till after school and have lived in Minnesota (greater than half my life at this level) since.  These are my bone fides.  I’ve a deep reference to the state, as a lot as I generally remorse it.

Cara Mund is the primary and solely North Dakota girl to have received the Miss America pageant (2017).  Yep, I do know that there are going to be a whole lot of people right here who will dismiss her as being shallow due to it.  How about that she additionally graduated Cum Laude from Harvard Regulation Faculty, based North Dakota’s Make-A-Want basis (turning into a “Licensed Want Granter”) and lots of different notable achievements?

She is operating as an impartial for the only US home seat.  She is pro-choice and her entry into the election lately triggered an elbowing out of the Democratic candidate within the race, who was anti-abortion.  She’s a really spectacular candidate even now, at nicely underneath 30 years previous.
