2-vehicle crash in Richland County leaves both drivers injured

RICHLAND COUNTY, ND — Each drivers concerned in a two-vehicle collision in Richland County on Thursday, Feb. 2, obtained non-life threatening accidents.

Robyn Opatril, a 42-year-old girl from Wahpeton, was touring east round 5:30 p.m. in her Chevy Traverse on 76th Road Southeast when she approached the intersection of Richland County 1, simply 3 miles north of Mooreton, North Dakota, in accordance with a report from the North Dakota Freeway Patrol.

After failing to yield the suitable of approach on the intersection, Opatril’s automobile was struck in a T-bone type by a Chevy Malibu, pushed by 39-year-old Leslie Reiland of Colfax, North Dakota. Reiland had been touring north on Richland County 1, the report mentioned.

Each automobiles had been propelled into the east ditch of County 1.

Reiland was transferred by ambulance to Sanford Hospital for therapy for accidents that weren’t life threatening. Opatril sustained minor accidents within the crash, the report added. Each drivers had been sporting a seat belt.

Blowing snow was current on the time of the crash, whereas highway circumstances we good, in accordance with the report.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, in accordance with the patrol.
