Two men killed bald eagle and planned to eat it, Nebraska officials say

STANTON COUNTY, Neb. (KMTV) — Two 20-year-old Honduran nationals, who each reside in Norfolk, have been cited on Tuesday for possession of a lifeless American Bald Eagle, based on the Stanton County Sheriff’s workplace.

At roughly 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the sheriff’s workplace responded to a report of a suspicious car simply northwest of the principle Wooden Duck Recreation Space which is situated about three miles southwest of Stanton.

In response to authorities, the car was present in a area and it was decided that two males had a lifeless American Bald Eagle of their possession. The sheriff’s workplace alleges that the 2 shot and killed the chicken in that space and said they deliberate on cooking and consuming the chicken.

Nebraska Sport and Parks have been contacted and took custody of the eagle and the rifle used to kill the eagle.

The 2 males have been recognized as Ramiro Hernandez-Tziquin and Domingo Zetino-Hernandez. Hernandez-Tziquin was additionally cited for having no driver’s license.
