Search continues for missing Crofton, Nebraska boy; FBI contacted as multiple agencies join search
KNOX COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV) – The family of an 11-year-old boy who hasn’t been seen since Monday is pleading with him to come home.
The Knox County Sheriff‘s Office says 11-year-old Holden Duncan, whose legal last name is Ouding, was last seen by the Crofton High School around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, October 21st. Surveillance cameras then capture him walking alone and unharmed near the north edge of Crofton around 6:30 Monday night.
Duncan, who will be 12 years old in November, has not returned home before but has never been gone for this amount of time.
An Endangered Missing Advisory was issued Wednesday for Duncan.
The Knox County Sheriff‘s Office is asking residents in and around the Crofton area to check any home security or surveillance cameras as far back as 4 p.m. on October 21st and onward for any sign of Duncan. If anyone sees anything that may be relevant, contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Several local, county and state agencies have been searching for Duncan, utilizing drones and helicopters into the late evening and early morning hours since he was reported missing late Monday night. The FBI has also been contacted.
Authorities believe Duncan is hiding in the immediate Crofton area.
Holden Duncan has sandy brown hair. He’s 4’3” and approx. 80 lb. He is small-sized for his age. He was last seen wearing a Black long-sleeved UnderArmor shirt, Black Sweatpants, and Black Nike with white swoosh shoes. He also wears glasses.
