RFK Jr. submits more than 5,000 signatures to get on Nebraska ballot

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Tuesday that it has submitted signatures to get on the ballot in Nebraska.

The campaign said it turned in 5,023 signatures to the Secretary of State’s Office, more than double the 2,500 required.

But officials still need to verify that the signatures are from registered Nebraska voters. They have until Sept. 13 to do that.

Kennedy, who is running as an independent, has made it on the ballot in nine states: Utah, Michigan, California, Delaware, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Texas, South Carolina and Mississippi.

In 14 0ther states, including Nebraska, the campaign said it has enough signatures, but ballot access is not official yet.

Those states include the swing states of Nevada and North Carolina.
