Nebraska RB Johnson to enter transfer portal
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Nebraska running back Emmett Johnson plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal after his sophomore season with the Huskers. Johnson, who started ten games over the past two seasons, amassed 1,242 yards of total offense at Nebraska.
Johnson announced his plans to transfer on Thursday, which is three days before the Huskers’ bowl announcement.
Nebraska qualified for the post-season with a 6-6 record, snapping the program’s eight-year bowl drought.
