Loaded septic truck overturns on rural Nebraska road

MERRICK COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) – The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office said a loaded septic truck overturned on a rural road Monday, but the driver wasn’t seriously hurt.

According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of the septic truck crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and swerved to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle. The truck went into the ditch and rolled on its side.

The driver of the truck had minor injuries but didn’t have to be hospitalized, according to the sheriff’s office.

Alcohol or drugs were not suspected the sheriff’s office said.
