Lincoln Southwest's Jackson Carpenter commits to Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Southwest junior wide receiver/defensive back Jackson Carpenter announced his commitment to the University of Nebraska on Saturday.
Carpenter led the Silver Hawks in receiving yards last season with 28 receptions, 514 yards and seven touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, the 2025 grad recorded nine total tackles in 2023.
Carpenter is a three-star athlete and chose Nebraska over offers from Kansas, North Dakota and Dartmouth.
His father, Tim Carpenter, played tight end for Nebraska from 1993 to 1997.
