Crash near Ceresco shuts down stretch of Highway 77

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Nebraska 511 reports that a southbound stretch of Highway 77 just south of Ceresco is currently closed due to a crash.

The crash occurred at around 7:32 p.m. along Highway 77 near Little Salt Road. A Nebraska 511 camera near the scene shows a large police and fire on scene. Crews from Ceresco, Lincoln Fire & Rescue, and StarCare have all responded.

According to Nebraska State Patrol, multiple vehicles seem to be involved in the crash, including a Ceresco Police Cruiser.

NSP said they are investigating the crash.
