Columbus Police investigating armed robbery
COLUMBUS, Neb. — Authorities in Platte County are investigating an armed theft that occurred late Sunday evening.
In keeping with Columbus Police Capt. Douglas Molczyk, the incident occurred simply earlier than midnight.
Molczyk stated a person ‘armed with a semiautomatic pistol’ entered Nook Cease on twenty third Road and ordered the worker to offer him cash from the money register.
In keeping with Molczyk, the masked suspect put the cash in a backpack and ran northwest from the scene on foot.
No accidents have been reported to police.
The incident stays underneath investigation.
