Vanderbilt women’s basketball vs Missouri score today: Mikayla Blakes highlights, how to watch
Vanderbilt women’s basketball will play its final game of the 2024-25 regular season on Sunday, traveling to Columbia to take on Missouri.
The matchup with the Tigers (14-16, 3-12 SEC) could have major implications for SEC tournament seeding. The SEC tournament begins Wednesday in Greenville, South Carolina.
Missouri is one of four teams tied for 12th in the SEC with three conference wins. Vanderbilt (20-9, 7-8) is currently ninth in the SEC and with a win would likely be the No. 9 seed in the conference tournament. The Commodores could drop to the No. 10 seed if they lose and Mississippi State wins, or they could be the No. 8 seed with a win and Tennessee loss.
Mikayla Blakes is also looking for the SEC scoring title. She is currently 0.7 points per game behind Arkansas’ Izzy Higginbottom; Blakes averages 23.1 points per game and Higginbottom averages 23.8.
