News and Events – S&T faculty earn statewide awards from MACTE

Two academics from Missouri S&T have lately earned Educator of Excellence awards from the Missouri Affiliation of Faculties for Instructor Schooling (MACTE).

Dr. Beth Kania-Gosche, chair and professor, and Dr. Michelle Schwartze, assistant instructing professor, each in Missouri S&T’s trainer training and certification division, earned the statewide awards. The 2 acquired the awards in April.

“I’m so proud to congratulate two extraordinarily deserving recipients of this educator award,” says Dr. Kate Drowne, interim vice provost and dean of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Enterprise at S&T. “Michelle and Beth aren’t simply devoted academics themselves, but additionally devoted advocates for members of the instructing career. And the work they do to organize the subsequent technology of excellent Ok-12 academics will resonate in school rooms for many years to return.”

The Missouri Affiliation of Faculties for Instructor Schooling is a state affiliate of the American Affiliation of Faculties for Instructor Schooling and serves because the voice for educator preparation packages throughout the state.
