Missouri’s Chappell Roan makes international news winning two awards at the 2025 Brit Awards

LONDON (KY3) – Missouri’s Midwest Princess, Chappell Roan, made international headlines for winning two awards at the 2025 Brit Awards over the weekend.

The Willard, Missouri native took home the award for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year. The song was “Good Luck, Babe!”

Roan was not able to attend the award show in person but shared a video of her acceptance speech on her Instagram.

“It’s so lit that I’m winning a Brit,” Roan started her speech with.

Roan beat out big name international artists like Beyonce, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, Tyler The Creator, Taylor Swift, and more.

This is the second award show Chappell Roan has brought home the hardware in 2025. In February at the Grammys, she was named the Best New Artist.
