Missouri State Highway Patrol investigating Friday morning road rage incident

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Missouri State Freeway Patrol is investigating a highway rage incident that concerned photographs fired on I-35 southbound close to Brighton Avenue and NE Chouteau Trafficway.

In accordance with MSHP, the motive force of a black Dodge Charger with purple stripes and an unknown momentary tag exchanged gunfire with a semi-truck driver probably after stopping alongside the freeway. The incident occurred at 11:35 a.m. Friday morning.

The motive force of the Dodge Charger fled the scene and exited onto NE Chouteau Trafficway, heading northbound. The semi-truck driver was unhurt and remained on the scene.

The MSHP is asking anybody who witnessed the occasion or can establish the fleeing suspect to name 816-622-0800.
