Missouri man enters plea in KC-area bridge shooting

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – A 39-year-old Missouri man entered a no contest plea to tried first-degree homicide for a capturing that occurred on a Leavenworth bridge in 2020.

Jason Westrem, of Houston Lake, Missouri, admitted there may be sufficient proof to convict him of the crime.

Court docket paperwork present Westream drove his automobile onto the Centennial Bridge which connects Leavenworth to Platte County, Missouri. As he stopped for visitors he fired a handgun by way of his entrance windshield towards different automobiles and street building staff.
