Missouri man dies in central Minnesota rollover

BAXTER, Minn. — A 38-year-old Kansas Metropolis, Missouri, man died Monday, July 18, after his semitractor rolled on Freeway 371 in Crow Wing County.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash, reported at 4:41 a.m., in Baxter, south of School Highway. In accordance with the crash report, a 2020 Kenworth was northbound on the freeway when it ran off the highway on the appropriate hand aspect and rolled over.

The motive force of the Kenworth, Walter Eugene Hicks, suffered deadly accidents within the crash.

The highway was dry on the time of the crash.
