Missouri court sides with Eric Greitens on message-deleting app

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — A Missouri appeals courtroom says former Gov. Eric Greitens didn’t violate open data legal guidelines through the use of a message-deleting app.

The Western District Courtroom of Appeals on Tuesday upheld a decrease courtroom ruling in Greitens’ favor. A St. Louis legal professional sued Greitens in 2017 over use of the Confide app by the governor’s workplace. Greitens resigned 2018 within the face of doable impeachment and allegations of sexual and political misconduct.

He’s now operating for U.S. Senate. The plaintiff’s legal professional advised The Kansas Metropolis Star that they’ll attempt to take the case to the Missouri Supreme Courtroom if needed.
