Missouri Court of Appeals holds up conviction in fatal crash – ABC17NEWS

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Court docket of Appeals Southern District affirmed the conviction of a Jefferson Metropolis man in a deadly crash after he appealed the conviction on a number of grounds.

Damien Bryan was sentenced to 25 years after he was convicted of two counts of second-degree homicide and one depend of felony DWI.

Two folks, Donald A. Edwards, 58, of Russellville, and Joan D. Hamilton, 75, of Lenexa, Kansas, have been killed within the crash.

The Southern District denied Bryan’s movement for post-conviction reduction on claims he obtained ineffective help of counsel throughout his legal case.
