Lacy ran for 1,513 yards and 19 touchdowns this season to lead Lancaster to the Class 5A Division I Region II final. It was his second 1,000-yard season in three years after he ran for 1,352 yards as a sophomore for Fort Worth Nolan in 2021.

Lacy (6-0, 205), who ran 10.79 in the 100 meters last track season, is rated the third-best running back in the Dallas area, and 247Sports ranks him as the 17th-best running back in the nation in the Class of 2024. Lacy decommitted from Nebraska on Oct. 26 after having been committed to the Big Ten school since June.

Lacy joins a Missouri recruiting class that is ranked No. 30 in the nation for the Class of 2024. He is one of two running backs in Missouri’s class, along with Austyn Dendy, a three-star recruit from Arkansas.
