MORGAN COUNTY – A Stover man was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon.
Danny Cook, 69, travelled off the right side of westbound Missouri Route 52, about a half of a mile east of Calico Road, before striking a utility pole, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash report states Cook was transported by helicopter to University Hospital, and the 2021 GMC Sierra he was driving was totaled.
It is unknown whether Cook was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
