The Missouri Division of Tourism is encouraging summer time journey across the state with its launch of the “That’s My M-O” passport program, and several other native spots are on the listing of must-see sights.
This system, hosted on a mobile-only platform, options a whole bunch of areas throughout Missouri, sorted into 5 themes: open air, meals, tradition, household enjoyable and sports activities. Residents who verify in at 25, 50 or 100 areas shall be eligible to win prizes.
Space sights featured in this system embody the Neosho Nationwide Fish Hatchery, Prairie State Park close to Liberal, Roaring River State Park in Cassville, Joplin’s Wildcat Park, Whisler’s in Carthage, George Washington Carver Nationwide Monument close to Diamond, Valuable Moments in Carthage, Crimson Oak II northeast of Carthage and the Joplin Historical past and Mineral Museum. State officers say the journey trade in Missouri supported greater than 250,000 jobs and generated greater than $12 billion in taxable gross sales in fiscal 12 months 2021.
