CAMP TOWNSHIP — Two semitractors collided Monday on snow- and ice-covered roads in

Renville County

One driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash reported west of

According to the

Minnesota State Patrol,

the crash was reported at 10:34 a.m. near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 19 and Renville County Road 16 in Camp Township.

According to the

report,

a 2018 Peterbilt semi — driven by David Duane Schwantz, 63, of New Market — was traveling westbound on Highway 19 while a 2020 Kenworth semi, driven by 26-year-old Day Day Poe, of Naperville, Illinois, was eastbound when the two collided.

Schwantz suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the CentraCare — Redwood Hospital in

Redwood Falls.

Poe did not suffer any injury, according to the report.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision, and alcohol was not involved.

Renville County Sheriff’s Office,

Fairfax Police Department, Fairfax Fire and Ambulance, the

Minnesota Department of Transportation,

and Ed’s Towing assisted the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene.
