Student, 16, arrested after bringing loaded gun inside Mankato West High School
MANKATO, Minn. – A teenage boy is in custody after bringing a loaded handgun right into a southern Minnesota faculty.
Mankato metropolis officers say officers had been referred to as to Mankato West Excessive College simply after 10 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a 16-year-old scholar with a hid weapon.
Police say the boy did not make any threats, and he was taken into custody with out incident. Nobody was harm.
KEYC spoke to Mankato Space Public Faculties Superintendent Paul Peterson Wednesday in regards to the incident.

The boy is being held in a juvenile detention middle. He could face a felony cost for possession of a harmful weapon on faculty property.
