Sauk Rapids man Jay Olson gets 5 years in prison for making, selling

SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. — A Sauk Rapids man has been sentenced to 5 years in jail for making and promoting “ghost weapons,” the U.S. Legal professional’s Workplace in Minnesota introduced Thursday.

Jay Olson can even have three years of supervised launch after getting out of jail. Olson pleaded responsible to a federal cost of willfully participating within the enterprise of producing firearms and not using a license in September.

A legal grievance states Olson made and offered unlicensed and unserialized firearms between the autumn of 2021 and the spring of 2022.
