Kris Boyd criticizes Mike Zimmer, former Vikings coaching staff

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Kris Boyd was a visitor on Patrick Peterson’s “All Issues Lined” podcast on Thursday and used the chance to criticize the staff’s former teaching workers.

After he was advised by co-host Bryant McFadden that he may say something he wished on the present, Boyd opened fireplace by describing the atmosphere he felt Mike Zimmer created in his ultimate 12 months with the Vikings.

Boyd’s critique matches earlier studies and participant feedback after Zimmer was fired in January, following Minnesota’s 8-9 document and third time lacking the playoffs in 4 seasons and for the fifth time in eight seasons underneath Zimmer. 

Amongst gamers to beforehand criticize Zimmer was linebacker Eric Kendricks, who stated Zimmer created “a fear-based culture” throughout his ultimate season in Minnesota.

Whereas Boyd was vital of his former coach, he heaped reward on the atmosphere that new head coach Kevin O’Connell is establishing.

Now almost six months faraway from Zimmer’s firing, the previous head coach has but to publicly reply to his critics.
