Jorge Polanco heads back to the injured list

The Minnesota Twins positioned Jorge Polanco on the 10-day injured record on Saturday afternoon and recalled Jermaine Palacios from Triple-A St. Paul.

Polanco hasn’t performed since Aug. 27 as a result of left knee irritation however as a result of placements cannot be retroactive for a most of three days, the transfer dates again to Aug. 31.
