Minnesota
Foggy start to the week across southern Minnesota
Another morning with patchy fog across southeastern Minnesota, but it does look to clear up a bit with the help of a light southwesterly breeze by the afternoon. Temperatures remain mild, in the mid-30s, with a brief chance of rain tonight into Tuesday. Clouds will linger throughout the day on Tuesday, and the winds pick up out of the weat around 10-20 mph. Highs stay in the mid-30s throughout the day.
Wednesday looks to be the warm-up day of the week, seeing near ideal conditions for warmer temperatures with clear, sunny skies and light winds out of the southwest at 5-15 mph. Temperatures get into the low 40s in the afternoon. It looks to stay around 40° for Thursday and Friday, but getting a few clouds throughout the day and winds shifting to out of the west.
By the weekend, it cools back off but still remains rather mild for the first week of February, with highs in the mid-30s and a chance at seeing the sun on both days.
