MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police say a girl inside her north Minneapolis house was hit by gunfire Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Emerson Avenue North simply earlier than 4 p.m., the Minneapolis Police Division stated.

They discovered a girl in her 40s with gunshot wounds. She was hospitalized and is predicted to outlive, MPD stated.
