‘March For Our Lives’ Protesters Demand Lawmakers Take Action Against Gun Violence

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The streets of downtown Minneapolis have been stuffed on Saturday by protesters gathered for the “March for Our Lives,” certainly one of a whole lot of rallies nationwide calling for the top to gun violence following mass shootings in Buffalo, New York and Uvalde, Texas.

The group says they’re demanding that President Joe Biden and lawmakers take motion to handle gun violence.

Biden mentioned his message to rally-goers throughout the nation was to “maintain marching.”

“I be part of them by repeating my name to Congress: Do one thing,” he tweeted Saturday.

In Minneapolis, protesters marched down Washington Avenue and ended at Authorities Plaza, chanting “shield our children, take away the weapons.” Scholar audio system mentioned they’re on the occasion due to the taking pictures threats at colleges.
