City of Minneapolis settles lawsuit brought by demonstrators
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – The Metropolis of Minneapolis can pay $600,000 to settle extreme pressure claims by protesters within the days following the demise of George Floyd.
The lawsuit was filed by a gaggle of demonstrators, most of whom had been on the i-35W bridge when a big tanker truck drove into the gang. Lots of them declare they had been pepper-sprayed for no purpose, and with out warning, as police tried to interrupt up the gang.
Others say they had been struck by rubber bullets. Every will obtain $50,000 from town.
