12-year-old stabbed in his apartment, suspect arrested

A 12-year-old suffered doubtlessly life-threatening accidents once they stabbed early Saturday morning. 

Minneapolis police say they responded to an “unknown hassle name” at an condo constructing on the 3200 block of Cedar Avenue South round 2:15 a.m.

When officers arrived on scene they met a lady who stated a person with a knife had locked himself within her condo along with her 9-year-old and 12-year-old sons.

Police say officers may hear the kids screaming from the hallway once they acquired into the constructing. 

After officers compelled their approach into the condo they discovered the person holding the knife to the 12-year-old’s neck. Police say they ordered the person to drop the knife, when he refused, police say the officer used a taser.

At that time the suspect dropped the knife and the kid was capable of get away from him. Officers rendered assist to the 12-year-old who was then taken to Hennepin County Medical Heart.with doubtlessly life-threatening stabbing accidents.  

The person was arrested, however taken to a hospital for suspected drug-related points. 

Police say the person was identified to the lady whose condo it’s, and the incident stays underneath investigation.
