Rolling in the Votes: National Votorcade stops in Milwaukee to get people registered ahead of Election Day

MILWAUKEE — Election day is one month away and the hassle to get extra voters registered is a precedence for nonpartisan organizations.

Sunday a coalition of native and nationwide companions got here collectively to host a Votorcade referred to as the “Make Good Bother- 10 Million Extra Black Voters- Arc of Voter Justice Tour.”

Buses titled “Make Good Bother” drove by Milwaukee stretching about 6 blocks.

“We wished to undergo the neighborhoods of Milwaukee to ensure folks knew it was voting time and that it’s so necessary that they get their voting on and if they aren’t registered, they get registered,” stated Barbara Arnwine, President of the Transformative Justice Coalition.

The cease in Milwaukee is part of a 25-city tour shifting by the midwest to interact folks to get registered to vote.

Among the native teams included Wisconsin Voices, Milwaukee Turners, Expo of Wisconsin, M.W. Prince Corridor Grand Lodge, Wisconsin, WNOV 86, Higher Milwaukee City League, and Energy to the Polls.
