Milwaukee snow emergency, winter parking rules in effect

Milwaukee Division of Public Works officers declared a snow emergency for Sunday, Jan. 29.

Which means there may be no parking allowed on arterials (primary streets) from 10 p.m. to six a.m. and alternate aspect parking will probably be required on aspect streets from 10 p.m. to six a.m.

Posted avenue indicators take priority. The DPW urges drivers to please learn the road indicators for winter parking directions BEFORE YOU PARK.

Essential Streets/Arterials (No parking)

You may verify the arterials which don’t enable any parking on-line and by calling 414-286-CITY (-2489).

Facet Streets (Alternate Facet Parking)

All residents who park in a single day on a Milwaukee aspect avenue should transfer their autos to the ODD-numbered aspect of the road by 10 p.m. on Sunday via 6 a.m. on Monday. Parked autos must be flush to the curb and out of the move of visitors. This consists of the streetcar route and different metropolis roadways.

Designated Milwaukee Public Faculties tons will probably be obtainable for off-street parking starting Sunday at 7 p.m. All autos should be moved from MPS tons by 7 a.m. Monday morning. An inventory of faculty parking zone areas might be accessed on-line.
