Milwaukee police officer injured, squad smashed: video

Milwaukee police arrested a person outdoors District 7 after he allegedly smashed police squad automobile home windows and hit an officer within the head on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

The Milwaukee County District Legal professional’s Workplace charged 33-year-old Julius Neylon with felony battery, misdemeanor felony harm to property and disorderly conduct.

MPD surveillance captured the second Neylon allegedly walked as much as the officer and hit him within the head with a steel pipe. A supply shared the video with FOX6 Information.

Prosecutors say Neylon smashed the home windows of two squad vehicles outdoors District 7. When police obtained outdoors to see the harm, Neylon was allegedly on the bottom preventing with an officer.

In line with investigators, Neylon bashed the officer within the head, which induced a “two-inch laceration” that required “staples and glue” to shut. Prosecutors recognized the officer as a 35-year-old man. He suffered a concussion.

It’s not clear what motivated the alleged assault, in response to officers.

Court docket information present Neylon has a felony previous that features prior convictions for theft and resisting an officer.
