Milwaukee election official fired; fraudulently requested military ballots
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson introduced Thursday, Nov. 3 that Milwaukee’s Election Fee deputy director Kimberly Zapata has been fired after he says she fraudulently requested navy absentee ballots and despatched them to Republican state lawmaker Rep. Janel Brandtjen.
As a member of the navy you don’t should register or present an ID to vote. Town believes Zapata was making an attempt to show a loophole within the elections course of.
“This has each look of being an egregious and blatant violation of belief,” Mayor Johnson mentioned.
