Milwaukee driver who killed 71-year-old going 94 mph, prosecutors say

A Milwaukee man who’s a felon was dashing and had a gun in his car when he precipitated a crash close to Fond du Lac and Congress Aug. 12 that killed a 71-year-old man. He was out on signature bond in one other case on the time. 

Vincent King, 29, faces one rely of second-degree reckless murder; one rely of second-degree reckless harm and one rely of possession of a firearm by a felon.

The crash concerned a Cadillac pushed by the 71-year-old man who died on the hospital on account of his accidents. Prosecutors say King was driving a Dodge Charger. He and his passenger have been damage within the crash.

A felony grievance says surveillance confirmed the Charger dashing earlier than the crash. The crash left each autos severely broken. 

The Charger hit the Cadillac after which two visitors poles, sheering each poles at their bases. The Charger then collided with a fence in entrance of a restaurant. The Cadillac’s engine was discovered within the roadway.

Investigators say officers discovered a gun below King’s butt on the scene of the investigation.

The felony grievance notes King was convicted of felony retail theft in 2018. 

Courtroom data present King was charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct with home abuse assessments in July 2021. He obtained a $500 signature bond in that case, and he has failed to look in court docket twice. His newest bench warrant was issued in March 2022.
