Milwaukee County Jail death, man found unresponsive in cell

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned a person died in custody on the Milwaukee County Jail Sunday morning, Jan. 22.

The sheriff’s workplace discovered the person unresponsive in his cell round 6:30 a.m. He was in a single-occupant cell and confirmed no apparent indicators of harm or trauma.

A medical emergency was declared, and officers started lifesaving measures till the Milwaukee Fireplace Division arrived to take over. Based on officers, the person was pronounced useless at 6:45 a.m.

The 49-year-old Milwaukee man had been in custody on two counts of first-degree intentional murder and three counts of tried first-degree intentional murder. Officers mentioned the person had been held on a $1.5 million bail since October final yr.
