‘Leave your drone at home!’: FAA designating Milwaukee and surrounding area a No Drone Zone for the RNC
Due to multiple temporary flight restrictions during the Republican National Convention, set to begin Monday in downtown Milwaukee, the Federal Aviation Administration is designating much of southeastern Wisconsin a “No Drone Zone.”
“Leave your drone at home!,” the FAA said in a statement Friday.
The restrictions are in place for security and lasts from Monday until Thursday, the dates of the convention, according to the FAA.
The zone extends 30 miles around downtown Milwaukee.
