Harbor Fest: Celebration of Milwaukee’s working Harbor returns this fall

MILWAUKEE — The celebration of Milwaukee’s working Harbor, Harbor Fest, returns Thursday, Sept. 25.

Milwaukee Harbor District introduced Wednesday the pageant shall be alongside the 600 block of East Greenfield Avenue, outdoors of the UWM Faculty of Freshwater Sciences constructing and Harbor View Plaza.

The pageant will embody free, family-friendly actions associated to boats, fish, rivers, artwork, and science, in response to Harbor District. Guests may also have the ability to launch a child sturgeon starting at midday.

The sixth Annual Milwaukee Riverkeeper Boat Parade will start on the Harbor at 12:30 p.m.
