Deadly car crash near 35th and Capitol sends 5 to the hospital, 1 dead.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee police are investigating a deadly car crash that took place in the intersection of 35th and Capitol on April 18, around 11:55 p.m.

Police say that a Ford with four occupants was traveling West on Capitol, at a high rate of speed, ran a red light and collided with a Milwaukee County bus that was traveling North on 35th Street.

The Bus had 3 passengers, ages 59, 59, and 46.

The Bus driver along with the 46-year-old passenger, were taken to the hospital and both are expected to survive.

The Ford had 3 passengers, ages 27, 28, and 31, were all taken to the hospital.

The 27 and 28-year-old’s condition are serious while the 31-year-old is in critical condition.

The driver of the ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
