Brook Lopez’s Honest Reaction To Milwaukee Bucks Trading Away Twin Brother Robin Lopez To Kings

As it turns out, Brook and Robin Lopez’s reunion was going to be short-lived. This is after the Milwaukee Bucks decided to trade Robin away on Thursday to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for cash and the draft rights for Dimitrios Agravanis.

Robin, however, was still in the building on Thursday night as the Bucks were blown out by the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 35-year-old was seen sitting courtside reading a book as he made his presence felt just hours after learning that he had already been traded.

Brook Lopez Reacts to Milwaukee Bucks Sending His Brother Away

For his part, Brook Lopez returned to action on Thursday after a two-game absence. The former All-Star big man had to skip a couple of games due to personal reasons but was finally able to rejoin his team for Thursday’s contest.

Brook was asked to comment on the team’s decision to ship his brother off, which prompted an honest reaction from the Bucks’ starting center:

“He found a way to show up somehow,” Brook said, via Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Brook was referring to his twin brother’s decision to still be in the Fiserv Forum to support the Bucks even though he was no longer part of the team. Robin probably didn’t have to attend the game, but the fact that he did speaks volumes of the type of person he is.

The NBA is indeed a nasty business. Then again, the Lopez brothers are true professionals, and you can be sure that both of them are still going to do their jobs to the best of their ability despite this recent separation.
