American Family Field’s Barrelman Ale will be sold in stores for first time this baseball season
With baseball season quickly approaching, Molson Coors will let Milwaukee Brewers fans take home a taste of the ballpark.
Bernie’s Barrelman Ale, a beer that debuted in 2013 for the Brewers and was available exclusively at American Family Field, will be sold outside the stadium, in stores this baseball season.
Molson Coors is only selling the beer for a limited time, from March to September. Like New Glarus’ Spotted Cow, the beer will be available for purchase only in Wisconsin.
“There’s a very strong connection to the Brewers,” said Matt Dzarnowski, regional vice president for Molson Coors’ Great Lakes region. “We think it’s going to work really hard for us in Wisconsin and we’ll keep it there.”
“I’m sure that when people from Illinois come to Wisconsin to visit and try it, they’re going to want to try some and bring it back with them,” he added.
The beer will be available in 12 packs of 12-ounce cans and 19.2-ounce single cans, in addition to on tap at American Family Field.
