Aaron Rodgers’ rumored girlfriend and Milwaukee Bucks heiress Mallory Edens reveals she had a near-death accident after she fell off her horse and suffered a severe brain injury

Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens, opened up on a near-death experience on Friday.

Taking to Instagram, the NBA heiress, who is rumored to be dating New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, revealed that Friday marked the ten-year anniversary of the accident.

Edens, 27, recounted the event, telling her 225,000-plus followers that she fell off her horse and a suffered severe brain injury.

‘Today is a big life milestone for me,’ Edens wrote alongside a series of photos, that included one of her in hospital and one of her in riding gear stood alongside her horse.

’10 years ago today, I fell off my horse, got kicked in the head on the way down, and woke up in the ICU with four skull fractures and a traumatic brain injury that changed my life.

‘I’ve spent a lot of time lately thinking about the kid who woke up in that hospital bed, terrified she would never run a lap around a track or read a book again. How scary it was to lose everything I thought I knew about myself at that age in the blink of an eye.

‘The 19-year-old me, who found herself curled in the fetal position on the floor of a neurologist’s waiting room a few years later, in the middle of an episode of trigeminal neuralgia and in the kind of physical pain that escapes language. What I was learning about myself then, even though I didn’t know it at the time.’

‘I’m so grateful for my borrowed decade. I’m grateful for this healthy body and healthy brain. I’m grateful to know the feeling of impermanence in my bones – it feels like life. I’m grateful for my old lady soul. I’m so excited for the next ten. I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s all gravy, it always has been.’

Rodgers, 39, was first linked to Edens in January after the pair were seen together at a Bucks game and she watched the signal caller make his Jets preseason debut against the New York Giants in August.

The veteran NFL star and Edens go back some time, having previously been pictured at NBA games together as far back as 2019, but it now appears there may be more than just a friendship between the pair.

‘It’s more than friends, but it’s casual. Nothing serious at all,’ a source from People Magazine said in January.

‘He’s not looking to rush into anything. It’s low key for now. But it’s definitely a very close friendship that is evolving. He’s not going to do something as quick as Shailene [Woodley]. Live and learn.’

Rodgers made the move to New York on April 18 after seasons in Green Bay following the Jets’ blockbuster acquisition.

He soon settled into life in the Big Apple, attending NBA and NHL games with his new teammates, Broadway shows and concerts, including one with Edens.

Both Rodgers and Edens watched Ed Sheeran perform at MetLife Stadium in June, according to The New York Post. They reportedly both shared photos of the concert to their Instagram stories but none of the couple together.

Interestingly, Rodgers bought a one-percent stake in the Bucks back in 2018, meaning that if the romance is indeed on, he would be dating the daughter of his business partner.

Rodgers is no stranger to high-profile relationships, having previously been engaged to ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ actress Shailene Woodley, before they eventually broke it off in April 2022.

He was then rumored to be in a relationship with podcaster and social media influencer Blu of Earth, real name Charlotte Brereton, with the pair first linked in June 2022.

They were spotted with similar tattoos shortly after, but their whirlwind romance reportedly came to an end in December 2022.

Milwaukee considering new rules for backyard trampolines

Milwaukee trampoline owners may soon be required to maintain a five-foot buffer between any yard structure, such as a fence, or 15 feet if the trampoline doesn’t have a safety net, under new restrictions on jumpers advancing at City Hall.

Alderman Peter Burgelis proposed the ordinance, and the Public Safety and Health Committee approved the changes June 12. The measure would require approval of the full Common Council.

“This is about protecting people, especially children, from injury, protecting neighbors from nuisance and protecting the city from chaos,” Burgelis said.

Trampoline use would be restricted between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. under the new ordinance, and jumpers will need to comply with the existing noise control ordinances.

Residents could receive a penalty if they don’t comply, but penalties cannot exceed $500.

Any trampoline that has visible damage has to be repaired within 14 days of being notified by the city.
