Videos: Suspected meteor lights up sky in Michigan and beyond Thursday night

BERKLEY, Mich. – Some folks throughout the nation have been fortunate sufficient to seize footage of a suspected fireball because it streaked throughout the sky on Thursday night time.

The suspected meteor was noticed by many in Southeast Michigan. Native 4 acquired just a few emails and phonecalls from viewers who stated they noticed it themselves.

In accordance with the American Meteor Society, studies of sightings go as far south as South Carolina and as far north as Pinconning, Michigan. Folks between Pennsylvania and Indiana have reported sightings.

There have been 693 sightings reported to the AMS and many of the sightings occurred between 7 and eight p.m. You probably have a photograph or video you’d prefer to share, publish it to our Pins web page right here, or electronic mail us.
