BAY CITY, Mich. – A Michigan State Police trooper shot and injured a 21-year-old Bay Metropolis man throughout an “change of gunfire,” in line with police.

The capturing occurred at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday on Marleen Drive close to Murphy Avenue in Bay Metropolis, Michigan. Police mentioned a canine trooper and his canine had been aiding the Bay County Sheriff’s Division observe a suspect who fled after a doable assault.

The canine and trooper situated the suspect and “there was an change of gunfire,” police mentioned. The suspect, a 21-year-old Bay Metropolis man, was struck one time.

The Bay Metropolis man was transported to a neighborhood hospital and is in secure situation.
