LENAWEE COUNTY Mich. (CBS DETROIT) – Michigan State Police confirmed Tuesday’s extra search efforts within the Dee Warner case.

April marked two years since Warner went lacking. Authorities say the Lenawee County girl was final seen at her house in Franklin Township.

Investigators spent hours digging for brand new clues Tuesday. State police canvassed quite a few areas close by the lacking girl’s house. 

It is believed Warner was final seen at her residence on Munger Highway. Police say Warner was 52 years previous when she went lacking in April 2021.

With the most recent search efforts, Warner’s relations are hoping this may result in the closure their searching for.

“The day any person is put in jail that’s deemed accountable with good proof that they’re those answerable for her dying then we shall be at relaxation as a household. Our message from our fan group and household is that we’re pushing actual arduous to strain the prosecutor into beginning a prosecution,” mentioned Parker Hardy, Warner’s nephew.

MSP is not giving too many particulars on why they began their search efforts once more.
