The calendar flipped to July but Michigan State continues its summer recruiting momentum.

Chris Addison, a 2026 three-star EDGE from Franklin Parish High School in Winnsboro, La., announced his commitment to the Spartans via social media on Thursday night. He picked Michigan State over other finalists UCLA, Florida State, Tulane and Arizona State.

Michigan State entered June with only four players committed to its 2026 class and added 17 during the month.

Addison’s commitment brings the total in the class to 22 for the Spartans and there are a trio of four-star prospects in quarterback Kayd Coffman, offensive lineman Collin Campbell and wide receiver Tyren Wortham.
