Michigan sending $5 million to support first responders
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – First responders throughout the state together with in Mid-Michigan are receiving $5 million from the state.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer introduced Friday morning that greater than 60 communities throughout Michigan will obtain this funding from the First Responder Coaching and Grant Program.

The funds are meant to permit these communities to rent and practice much more first responders to assist hold Michigan secure.
A number of the communities in our space which are receiving the funding consists of Leslie at about $6,000, Potterville with $63,000, Hanover Township will get practically $10,000 and the Village of Montgomery in Hillsdale County will get $108,000.
