A Macomb County woman struggled to speak recently after her feeling that she would win a lottery jackpot finally came true.
The woman, 62, who chose to remain anonymous, won a Lotto 47 jackpot worth $1.72 million in September, according to the Michigan Lottery.
Her ticket matched the numbers drawn Sept. 25 — 4, 12, 25, 33, 41 and 47.
“I play Lotto 47 online often and I always had a feeling I would win the jackpot one day,” she told the Michigan Lottery. “I was so excited when I saw the email from the Michigan Lottery notifying me of my $1.72 million jackpot win! I called my son and daughter-in-law to tell them the news, but I had a hard time getting the words out because I was so stunned.”

She purchased her ticket online and recently claimed her prize. She opted to receive the winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of about $1.2 million instead of annuity payments for the full amount.
She pans to use the money to buy a house and help her family.
