Former federal agent from Michigan faces prison for sex assault of young relatives 30 years ago

RILEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A former federal agent from Michigan is dealing with jail time for the sexual assault of two of his kin between the ages of 4 and 9 about 30 years in the past.

Kevin Taylor, 49, of Riley Township, is a former federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent. He’s accused of assaulting two of his kin from 1989-1994, when he was 17-21 years previous and the kin had been between the ages of 4 and 9.

“I would like victims of sexual violence on this state to know that justice can and infrequently is pursued in circumstances the place assaults occurred years and even many years in the past, or when their assailants have ascended to positions of authority,” Michigan Lawyer Common Dana Nessel mentioned.

This week, Taylor pleaded no contest to 2 counts of third-degree felony sexual conduct.
